I've been here years before and it was a nice, cheap place to go bowling. However my recent visit was very unsavory, as it was around 12 dollars each for 3 people to bowl a single game in extremely tight lanes with an alley that chose rather frequently not return our balls. The staff's reaction was not very, if at all, apologetic and no discount or the likes was offered. Harsh review of my last visit aside, I assume it was a fluke but if you want a nice place to go bowling you can find better.
Cleaning the bathrooms would be a great idea.
It's pretty bad when it cost 6.50 and not even be asked if a league bowler. Then to top it off, the manager on duty today came down and bowled on a pair with someone who came in after me. They were bowling for free as it was set up by the manager. Must be nice to pick and choose who to charge. Go here to watch the staff all sit around and watch their supervisors bowl. Doubt I will return, hasn't changed here.
And who in upper management said pitchers of water couldn't be out on the counters for bowlers? You really think it makes sense to pay a staff person to continually fill non revenue producing cups of water all night?
Kinda bare bones, and the usual overpriced food and drink. But it's clean, and the employees we interacted with were nice. Bathrooms were clean.
AMF is a fun and friendly environment for all ages, children to senior citizens. Staff is very courteous and respectful.
