But what really gets me is that I moved an hour away, AND THEY WON'T LET ME CANCEL WITHOUT DRIVING A TWO HOUR ROUND TRIP!!!!!!!!!! What the hell?! Just because I didn't think of it before I moved, now I have to waste two hours worth of gas to drive up there and cancel! It is absolutely absurd. They won't let me cancel online or by phone. This is a policy that is absolutely ridiculous.
This gym is alright, but I honestly preferred it before the transfer. There were fewer muscle-heads and gym bunnies there, and it was a lot more friendly and non-judgmental.
I'm not a big fan of this gym. I started working out here when it was still a World Gym. After fitness connect bought them out they renovated the place and painted the walls. Seemed nice at first but it changed the atmosphere completely. The equipment is new but cheap. There is a lot more socializing here than working out which isn't the type gym I want to be a member of.
Common this is 2017 where everything is fast and easily accessible. Why in the world do I have to physically go to usps and mail a letter to cancel my membership. Why!!!! You never asked me to mail a letter to join. You never told me I'd have to do this when I've to cancel. This is just FRAUD. I'm moving to a place where there's no fitness connection and now I've to send 2 freaking bloody letters to cancel my membership and my personal training sessions. I'm just so angry right now. I will never have the time to go to the post office.
Is absolutely unprofessional to allow about 40 kids or more at once to be looked over with about only three employees at the kids area. Today when I dropped off my one year old one of the employees was yelling at a little girl that because of KIDS LIKE HER behaving bad SHE would get in trouble with her supervisor. No reason to shame a little girl like that infront of other kids. Then when I picked my one year old daughter she was being pushed around and carried by about 5 five or six years old boys WHILE crying in the theater room with no supervision and no employee even noticing. Are you serious. I had to get in there myself and take her away from the kids because the employees obviously had no idea what was going on and could not handle all of the 40ish kids in that room at once. PLEASE HIRE MORE EMPLOYEES OR PUT A LIMIT ON HOW MANY KIDS SHOULD BE IN THERE SO THEY CAN BE PROPERLY WATCHED OVER!!
DON'T JOIN THIS GYM IF YOU WILL NOT BE A MEMBER FOREVER!!!!!!! Trust me, if you will never ever cancel your membership then this is the best gym ever.
Fitness shouldn't be expensive and that's exactly what this gym provides. It has plenty of clean functioning equipment. This place is excellent for its price
