On the Border has changed a lot of their recipes. I preferred the older ones but have to admit that there was more flavor to the food than heat. Waitress was awesome. Clean with quiet atmosphere. Thanks OTB for a great job well done.... ☺
The only one bright spot was the waiter realized she ate nothing off her plate and removed it from the bill without us asking. So the service was good, just horrible food.
To start with the tortilla chips were fried at too low of a temperature. Which meant that they were greasy with a stale slightly chewy texture. On top of that the oil needed to be filtered or changed; there was a slightly burn almost ransid taste. My wife got the fish tacos which was a big mistake. Again the oil needed to be changed, but worse than that the fish itself was way past it's prime. One bite into her taco and we were all hit with a strong fishy smell. It was inedible.
We used to love coming here. My daughter 10 years ago used to say that this was where the best tacos lived. Fast forward nearly a decade to 2017 and her opinion is the exact opposite.
Fantastic. Multiple managers made sure everything was going well throughout the meal. Love the margaritas! The service was great too!

We have actually been to this location several times. This restaurant is close to where we live so we go there often for a weeknight mean...as a family we love Mexican food, and this location does not disappoint. we all love the food but they also have good drinks...we definitely recommend this restaurant!
We love coming to this On The Border! We have one closer to our house but we drive a bit further just to visit this one. The staff is amazing! Every server we have is always great, and the management really does 100% to make sure their guests are taken care of. Chad is our favorite of all time. The atmosphere is very welcoming and we never want to leave once we walk in the door.
