Too be sooo rich, they have very poor accommodations. I had to move spots 4 time when it was a two week stay . There is a very nice lady that works the gate. I think if they need management, she should be in charge. All people might get treated fairly. I am descrimanted against for some unknown reason. I try to be kind and thoughtful to everyone I might come into contact with. If everyone did that it would be World Peace !
Nice place. Get half price if you get pass. Can't beat low price for camping. Town close by for supplies.
We think this place in wonderful. We are from Indiana, down here for work. When we were coming in we had no idea how they were going to pull of a quiet peaceful camping experience and they did. You turn of 35 and boom peace and quiet. It was like a different world. Like always though, we forgot stuff and store are less then 10 minutes away. The sites are nice with nice concrete pads but plenty of room for tents too. Bath houses are nice and had plenty of hot water to shower. Beautiful views of the lake on each site. Wonderful wild life experience, we saw coyotes, deer, plenty of birds and squirrels and bunnies. The park is very pet friendly. The kids loved swimming and floating and fishing right off shore from our site. We loved it so much we are booking for our return trip in a week when we come back for more work stuff.
Clean sites. Friendly Park Hosts. Well-maintained bike trails. Hiking trails need to be cleared more frequently, it's very easy to find yourself in the thorns without a clear path forward.
Nice place on Lewisville Lake. Lots of picnic tables and benches to look out at the water while having a picnic or just chillin'. Paved parking a playground and restrooms.
