A few days later I get a charge for $180. I call in asking why and they say I rented the car for 3 days. Uhhh... what? Guy on the phone says that I didn't return it until Monday afternoon. I tell him I returned it Saturday. He tells me it must somehow be my fault, and I did something wrong.

Second time renting from Budget. I'll never rent from them again. Better to pay more and get more reliable service.

DO NOT USE BUDGET.....in fact, U-Haul was about 20 bucks more and I think Budget should pay me the that money just as a way to TRY and make up for their being unqualified imbeciles....customer service....WHAT customer service......this is FUBAR.

I would never rent a car from this place again. The owner is a prick and the whole place has a shady vibe. First off, MY TRUCK GOT TOWED from the parking lot. I even asked the owner if it would be safe annnd it wasn't. Then I asked for a partial refund for the hassel of getting my truck back and he said he didn't tow it so he's not responsible just like if a car hit my car in the parking lot he wouldn't be responsible. He said in 15 years a car has never been towed and I'm calling BS on that. And if it has been 15 years and you have ONE customers car get towed from your parking lot then as the owner I would be more respectful and offer something for the stress caused by the situation. On top of that when I walk in for the first time and I told them I pre-paid online they tell me how I shouldn't have done that and I should have just came in and I could have saved $120. I understand telling me that once for future reference but he said it about 3-4 times during the process and when I mentioned cancelling online and just purchasing through him he said no it will take too long...so why would you even tell me in the first place?!? Nuff said...

I went into this location on 6/26 to rent a car for one day. I was simply driving to Waco and back, and my car was in the shop for some suspension work. After waiting for about an hour, I was finally able to rent a car. Everything seemed fine. I ordered a one day rental of the Jeep Patriot. Left with the keys.

DO NOT RENT HERE, we scheduled a truck 5 days in advance and received a call the morningof our rental that the truck had not been brought back yet and they were sorry but would call us as soon as the truck came back......that was Saturday morning at 8:15 and we were to move our home at 8:30...today is Monday at 3:05 and I still HAVE NOT RECEIVED A CALL. I am so glad we dropped everything and ran over to U-Haul on 121 Business where they took great care of our every need and the move went very well.

They'll charge you for their incompetence.

Nice people at the front desk but my car was dirty. I found several items from the previous owners and it's concerning to think that they don't fully inspect the vehicles but will charge someone a cleaning fee. I will never pay over 300 to not have a clean car again. Definitely will not return.

The Jeep smelled like smoke and was a bit dirty, which kind of sucked because I was driving my kids in it. I drove to Waco, and came back at about 4:30pm after they had closed. I parked the car in the same spot, and dropped the keys off in the drop box. Had the car for about 5 hours, fully gassed up.

I've been renting cars for four years. I've used key drop off half the time. I've never had a single issue. I can only guess that an employee didn't even check the drop box for two days, and then decided to charge me for it. They refuse to fix the issue. I had to call my bank to dispute the charge.

I rented a 2016 ford focus from them and it was super quick and easy to both pick it up and drop it off. No hassles, no extra fees, no complaints from me. Loved the car too. The only thing negative I can think of is when you go to get gas, there's a sticker that says to get E85, which is not easy to find. So after an hour of panicking and using Google, I discovered it was a flex-fuel car so I used unleaded, since I was hours away from an E85 gas station. That probably should of been explained to me. But they still get 5 stars since everything else was great.
