I feel like it the service I shouldn't even give it three stars, however the waitress in training, Stephanie was sweet, and the food and drinks were good.
I'm actually here as I write this. The bartender waiting on me is nice enough but there is another behind the bar who is loud and obnoxious, she couldn't possibly be more annoying. It's not her potty mouth, I was a sailor and that doesn't bother me. It's as though she has to be saying something at all times, and loudly. I definitely should have taken my drink on the patio. Then at least I might want to come back. Which would have been nice as this place is nice and close to home. Oh well. It strikes me as a great place for a lonely guy to be doted on by cute bartenders.
This was my first time ever going to drunken Donkey, and we were celebrating my friend 21st. Everything was great until the end. The waitress training our waitress was very rude and disrespectful. I myself am a waitress, and never have I nor have I ever experienced such rude behavior from a server. Once they came and said they were closing, I still had a drink and instead of asking me for the drink, she came and physically snatched it out of my hands while I was taking a sip, and at this time, they were still open, it was not even 1:45. I know they take drinks after a certain time, but damn is all I have to say. It got the attention of every person on the patio and unfortunately I was not the only one who was rubbed wrong by this waitress.
I've been waiting for so long I've been debating walking out on my ticket.
Great food, good drinks at a fair price, but as far as the service goes, absolute garbage from most of the staff. Stephanie if you see this, you were amazing.
Just as the last guy, I'm sitting here as I write this. I've been waiting for my check for over 20 minutes now. The food is great and delicious. The drink menu is also awesome. After my 2nd time here though, the service has just proved that this place isn't worth it.... if the service was even a little bit better it would get 5 stars.
Service was awesome. I had no issues with the service at all. Out server lost her voice and still was outstanding. She did her very best to get us everything we needed and she was super attentive. Had a great selection of beer. The food was awesome. I had the club and it was fantastic. I highly recommend getting the fries tossed in golden donkey sauce. So tasty really excited for the next visit.
Went to the Drunken Donkey last night for Jodi's birthday. Neat place and great food. I had the Reuben, but we all stole the cinnamon covered sweet potato fries off Diane's plate. Everything looked and tasted delicious.
